Reverting Cluster Instance Nodes

This section describes how to rollback a failed node addition.

Log in to the management console.
Click in the upper left corner and select a region and a project.
Click Service List. Under Database, click Document Database Service to go to the DDS console.
On the Instances page, locate the cluster instance to which nodes fail to be added and choose More > Revert in the Operation column.
In the displayed dialog box, click Yes.
During the rollback, the instance status is Deleting node. This process takes about 1 to 3 minutes.

Log in to the management console.
Click in the upper left corner and select a region and a project.
Click Service List. Under Database, click Document Database Service to go to the DDS console.
On the Instances page, click the cluster instance to which the node fails to be added.
In the Node Information area on the Basic Information tab, click the dds mongos or shard tab, locate the dds mongos node, shard node, or read replica that fails to be added, and click Delete.
In the displayed dialog box, click Yes.
During deletion, the node status is Deleting node. This process takes about 1 to 3 minutes.
