Managing Projects

Prerequisites

• You have subscribed to DataArts Insight.
• A project has been created.
• You have been granted the permission to edit and delete projects.

Editing a Project

1. Click in the upper left corner to select a region.
2. In the navigation pane on the left, choose System Settings > My Projects.

3. Click the project you want to edit under My Projects.
4. On the Basic Information tab, edit the basic project information.

   Parameter	Description
   My Project Name	Name of the project. NOTE: The project name can contain a maximum of 50 characters, including letters, digits, underscores (_), slashes (/), backslashes (\), vertical bars (|), parentheses (()), and square brackets ([]).
   Enterprise Project	Enterprise project the project belongs to.
   Description	Modifying this parameter will affect the fields of datasets created thereafter. Dimension and measure names can be either physical field names or field comments.
   Creator	User who creates the project.
   Created	Time when the project is created.
   Owner	Owner of the project, who has the same permissions as the administrator.

Deleting a Project

1. Click in the upper left corner to select a region.
2. In the navigation pane on the left, choose System Settings > My Projects.
3. Under My Projects, locate the project you wan to remove, click next to the project, and click Delete.

   Note

   This action is irreversible and will delete all resources, including data sources and dashboards, in your project.
