Managing Transactions

Note

A transaction used by a test cannot be deleted.

Modifying a Transaction

  1. Log in to the CPTS console and choose CPTS Test Projects in the left navigation pane.
  2. Locate a test project to be edited and click More > Edit Transaction Library.
  3. On the Transactions tab page, click Rename next to the transaction.
  4. Modify the transaction name and click OK.

Deleting a Transaction

Deleted transactions cannot be restored. Exercise caution when deleting a transaction.

  1. Log in to the CPTS console and choose CPTS Test Projects in the left navigation pane.
  2. Locate a CPTS test project to be edited and click Edit Transaction Library.
  3. On the Transactions tab page, click More > Delete next to the transaction to be deleted.

    You can select multiple transactions at a time and click More > Delete to delete these transactions.

    Note

    If some transactions to be deleted in batches are referenced by a test task, only transactions that are not referenced can be deleted.

  4. Delete the transactions as prompted.

Copying a Transaction

  1. Log in to the CPTS console and choose CPTS Test Projects in the left navigation pane.
  2. Locate a CPTS test project to be edited and click Edit Transaction Library.
  3. On the Transactions tab page, click More > Copy next to the transaction to be copied.
  4. Enter the name of the new transaction and click OK.
