Modifying a VPN Gateway

Log in to the management console.
Click in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.
Click Service List and choose Network > Virtual Private Network.
Click in the upper left corner, select a region, and choose Network > Virtual Private Network.
The VPN console is displayed.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Virtual Private Network.
If Enterprise Edition VPN is available for the selected region, choose Virtual Private Network > Classic.
On the Classic page, click the VPN Gateways tab.
- Locate the row that contains the target VPN gateway, and choose More > Modify Bandwidth in the Operation column.
- Locate the row that contains the target VPN gateway, and choose More > Modify Basic Information in the Operation column.
- Locate the row that contains the target VPN gateway, and choose More > Modify Specifications in the Operation column.
Modify the VPN gateway bandwidth, name, or description as required.
Click OK.

Scenario

You can modify the name and description of a VPN gateway.

Procedure

Log in to the management console.
Click in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.
Click in the upper left corner, select a region, and choose Network > Virtual Private Network.
The VPN console is displayed.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Virtual Private Network > Classic – VPN Gateways.
If Enterprise Edition VPN is available for the selected region, choose Virtual Private Network > Classic.
Locate the row that contains the VPN gateway that you want to modify, and choose More > Modify Basic Information in the Operation column.
Modify the VPN gateway name or description as required.
Note
The name of a VPN gateway can contain only letters, digits, underscores (_), hyphens (-), and periods (.).
Click OK.

Scenario

When the bandwidth of a VPN gateway cannot meet your service requirements, you can modify the VPN gateway bandwidth.

Procedure

Log in to the management console.
Click in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.
Click Service List and choose Networking > Virtual Private Network.
Click in the upper left corner, select a region, and choose Network > Virtual Private Network.
The VPN console is displayed.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Virtual Private Network > Classic – VPN Gateways.
If Enterprise Edition VPN is available for the selected region, choose Virtual Private Network > Classic.
On the VPN Gateways page, locate the row that contains the target VPN gateway and click Modify Bandwidth in the Operation column.
Modify the bandwidth as required.
Click Submit.

Scenario

When the number of VPN connections associated with a VPN gateway does not meet your requirements, you can modify the VPN gateway specifications.

Procedure

Log in to the management console.
Click in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.
Click in the upper left corner, select a region, and choose Network > Virtual Private Network.
The VPN console is displayed.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Virtual Private Network > Classic – VPN Gateways.
If Enterprise Edition VPN is available for the selected region, choose Virtual Private Network > Classic.
Locate the row that contains the target VPN gateway, and choose More > Modify Specifications in the Operation column.
Enter the number of required VPN connections on the displayed page.
Click Submit.
Note
The number of required VPN connections can only be increased.
