Modifying a Security Group

After a security group is created, you can change its name and description.

1. Log in to the management console.
2. Click in the upper left corner and choose Network > Virtual Private Cloud.

   The Virtual Private Cloud page is displayed.

3. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Access Control > Security Groups.

   The security group list is displayed.

4. Locate the row that contains the security group, click More in the Operation column, and click Modify.

   The Modify Security Group dialog box is displayed.

5. Modify the name and description of the security group as required.

   Name	Mandatory The name of the security group. The name: Can contain 1 to 64 characters. Can contain letters, digits, underscores (_), hyphens (-), and periods (.).	sg-AB
   Description	Optional Supplementary information about the security group. The description can contain a maximum of 255 characters and cannot contain angle brackets (< or >).	-

6. Click OK to save the modification.
