Managing Public NAT Gateways

Scenarios

After a public NAT gateway is created, you can modify the name, specifications, or description of it. You can also delete public NAT gateways that are no longer needed to release resources.

If you downgrade a NAT gateway, make sure that the new specification can meet your service requirements.

Upgrading a NAT gateway does not affect services.

Modifying a Public NAT Gateway

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.
  3. In the upper left corner of the page, click to expand the service list and choose Network > NAT Gateway.

    The Public NAT Gateways page is displayed.

  4. Locate the public NAT gateway you want to modify and click More > Modify in the Operation column.
  5. Modify the name, specifications, and description of the public NAT gateway.
  6. After the modification is complete, click Next, view the comparison information, and click Submit. You can view the information about the modified NAT gateway in the public NAT gateway list.

Deleting a Public NAT Gateway

Note

All SNAT and DNAT rules created on the public NAT gateway have been deleted. For details about how to delete SNAT and DNAT rules, see Deleting an SNAT Rule and Deleting a DNAT Rule.

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select the desired region and project.
  3. In the upper left corner of the page, click to expand the service list and choose Network > NAT Gateway.

    The Public NAT Gateways page is displayed.

  4. On the displayed page, locate the public NAT gateway that you want to delete and choose More > Delete in the Operation column.
  5. In the displayed dialog box, enter DELETE.
  6. Click OK.
