- If you remember your password and want to change it, do as follows:
- Account: Change the password by referring to Resetting the Password for an IAM User or Account.
- IAM user: On the IAM console, choose Security Settings in the left navigation pane and change the password on the Basic Information tab. For details, see "Changing the Password of an IAM User" in the Identity and Access Management User Guide.
- If you have forgotten your password:
- Reset your password by following the instructions in What Should I Do If I Forgot the Password of an IAM User or Account?
- If you have not bound any email address or mobile number to the IAM user you are using, request the administrator to reset your password. For details, see "Changing the Password of an IAM User" in the Identity and Access Management User Guide.
