After a data source is created, you can modify or delete the data source as needed. This section describes how to modify or delete a data source.
Prerequisites
You have been granted the permission to edit data sources. For details about data source authorization, see Authorizing a User to Edit or Use a Data Source.
Editing a Data Source
- Click
in the upper left corner to select a region. - In the lower left corner of the navigation pane, select an enterprise project from Enterprise Project.
- Click the name of the desired project in the My Projects area in the right pane.
- Locate the target data source.
- Click
on the right of the data source and choose Edit. - Edit the data source by setting parameters based on the data source configuration description in "Connecting to a Data Source".
- After editing the parameters, click Test Connection to test the data source connectivity.
- After the test is successful, click OK.
Deleting a Data Source
- Click
in the upper left corner to select a region. - In the lower left corner of the navigation pane, select an enterprise project from Enterprise Project.
- Click the name of a project in the My Projects area on the right. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Data Management > Data Sources.
- Locate the target data source.
- Click
on the right of the data source and choose Delete. - Click OK to delete the data source.Note
If a data source is associated with a dataset, you must delete the dataset before deleting the data source.
