The tab control of DataArts Insight allows you to display dashboard analysis results across multiple pages.
Prerequisites
- A project has been created by referring to Creating a Project.
- A data source has been connected by referring to Connecting to a Data Source.
- A dataset has been created by referring to Creating a Dataset Through Visual Configuration.
Procedure
- In the top navigation bar on the dashboard creation page, click
to create a tab.
- Select the desired visual control in the dashboard and click to place it inside the tab control.
- Set the tab style parameters based on Table 1.

Description
Card Title
Cards can be configured with or without a title. If a title is set, it will be displayed in the top left corner of the card.
If the checkbox is not selected (
), the card will have no title.
If the checkbox is selected (
), the card will have a title.
Text
You can adjust the font size and color of the text. To change the font size, you can either type in the desired size or use the
and
buttons.
Alignment
You can align the text in the card to the left or center.
Bottom Margin
The bottom margin of the card title can be set from 0 to 32.
Bottom Margin of Card Title
You can adjust the bottom margin of the card title by either inputting a specific value or using the
and
buttons.
Divider
- Cards can be configured with or without a divider line.
- If the checkbox is not selected (
), the card will have no divider line.
- If the checkbox is selected (
), the card will have a divider line. You can customize the style and bottom margin of the divider line. The style and bottom margin can be set by inputting values or using the
and
buttons.
- If the checkbox is not selected (
- Style: You can customize the style of the divider line by selecting a color and size within the range of 0 to 8.
- Bottom Margin: Set the bottom margin of the divider line by either inputting a specific value or using the
and
buttons. The input value must be from 0 to 32.
Card Background
- Cards can be configured with or without a background.
- If the checkbox is not selected (
), the card will have no background.
- If the checkbox is selected (
), the card will have a background. The background color can be set.
- If the checkbox is not selected (
Status Icon
You can customize the display style and color of the icon, which can be set to always show or show on hover. The card icon can be set to have a status or no status.
If the checkbox is not selected (
), the icon will have no status.
If the checkbox is selected (
), the icon will have a status.
Status Icon: Set it to Hover display or Always display. The color is user-defined.
Tab Styles
You can use the default tab style settings or select Custom Tab Style to customize them. Custom Tab Style supports the following options: Underline and Selected Block.
Default: If not selected (
), the default settings are used.
Custom Tab Style: If selected (
), the settings can be customized.
Text Within Tab
Set the font size and color by either inputting a specific value or using the
and
buttons.
Tab Position
The options are Left, Center, and Right.
Custom Tab Component Border
You can retain the default settings or customize them. Customize the component border and color by either inputting a specific value or using the
and
buttons.
Default: If not selected (
), the default settings are used.
Custom: If selected (
), the settings can be customized.
Tab Tags
You can add, delete, and rename tab tags.
Label Width
This parameter cannot be set currently as the feature is not yet available.
Show Tabs During Preview
Not selected: If not selected (
), the tab is not displayed.
Selected: If selected (
), the tab is displayed.
- Cards can be configured with or without a divider line.
- Select the tab and add the visual controls you need from the dashboard navigation bar.
- Click the controls to set their parameters.
- Click Save or Save and Publish in the upper right corner to save the dashboard.Note
The differences between Save and Save and Publish are as follows:
- Click Save in the upper right corner. In the displayed dialog box, enter the dashboard name, and click Confirm. The saved dashboard cannot be viewed but can be deleted.
- Click Save and Publish to save and publish the dashboard. You can view the saved dashboard. To delete the dashboard, you need to take it offline first.
- On the displayed dashboard page, enter a dashboard name.
